Nexen Tire at ‘2012 SEMA Show’
images Nexen Tire introduced its cutting-edge technology in the biggest tire exhibition in the world; '2012 SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Show'. Nexen's major, new products and SUV/LTR tires were introduced to the buyers from North and South America in a bid to expand the export market.

  SEMA Show is held at the Convention Center in Las Vegas November. It is the biggest show where over 4,000 companies in 12 sectors including tires, car parts and tuned cars participate. It is also a large festival where the industry leaders gather altogether.
Especially in this year, many Chinese tire makers joined the show. Japanese and Taiwanese tire manufacturers also appeared to be much more aggressive in marketing. Tire companies mainly focused on All Season tires this year and there were many touring products at the show.
Nexen Tire displayed 42 models in five different zones; UHP, HP, SUV&LTR, WINTER and OE&CONCEPT. The 12 new products, Premium SUV tire N'FERA RU5, ROADIAN RU5, ROADIAN HTX, ROADIAN AT pro which will be launched next year were specially displayed in the center of the booth to attract the overseas buyers for the global market. images
Nexen Tire's special events attracted the viewers and buyers during the show. The most popular event was the Plinko Game where the winners received tire vouchers and souvenirs. Nexen also brought out loud cheers from the visitors and gave away caps and t-shirts for gifts. Nearby competitors couldn't help but feel jealous of the high popularity and visitors' response.
images Nexen's active marketing moves in North and South America made continuous sales increase. Vice Chairman Hyun-Bong Lee emphasizes, "We have a lot of different marketing activities planned for America in the future. Through such activities, we will continuously introduce our technology and strengthen the sales."
