In 2012, NEXEN TIRE entered into partnership with Eintracht Frankfurt. This giant German football club with a long history of more than 100 years enjoyed its heyday in the mid-1990s. In particular, many football fans remember that Cha Bum-Kun, nicknamed Tscha Bum in Germany ("Cha Boom"), one of the greatest footballers of the 1980s, played for this club.

NEXEN TIRE is improving its brand awareness and consumer preference through various advertisements including stadium advertising panels in the center of the European market, the arena of competition among the world tire makers.

In 2013, NEXEN TIRE entered into partnership with Australian Geelong Cats Football Club. This club was formed in 1859 and named after the city of Geelong, and plays in the Australian Football League(AFL). AFL is one of the three major sports leagues in Australia which is governed by Australian football rules, also called Footy. The annual AFL Grand Final is so far the world's highest attended club championship event, attended by massive number of 90,000 people. The league currently consists of 18 clubs each playing 22 games from March to August of the year.

Geelong Cats, supported by NEXEN TIRE, established fine records in winning the 2011 Grand Final and ranking 2nd at the end of May of the 2013 season.

Each game is broadcasted across Australia every week, an average of 50 million people are watching the games.
NEXEN TIRE's logos and advertising panels are displayed on the ground-floor of Kardinia Park stadium, which is home to Geelong Cats for the 11 games. People who are exposed to the home game advertisements are some 220,000. It is a great opportunity to give wider publicity to NEXEN TIRE and its logos along with Korean brand.
