- These days In Japan, some middle aged musicians are injecting more energy into the music market than idol group singers. One of them is the band Mr Children, and Nexen’s choice is the music video of one of their songs called “Kurumi” (くるみ). Kurumi means a walnut, but also means a time that is yet to come and is frequently used in girls’ names. - A French man does a stunt on snow, not on a pair of skies or a board, but on a car. In the video, he runs up the ramp at full speed, takes off and executes a perfect backflip before landing safely. This jaw-dropping clip is also a must-see and a definite Nexen choice.

- Internationally beloved pop diva Beyonce. A video clip of not hers but her passionate backup dancers has caused quite a stir online. It has been viewed over 67580 times, and the number is expected to increase for some time. Many admit that they are fascinated so much by their dancing skills that they can’t stop replaying it. So check it out for yourself.
- Google’s smart glasses
- Google recently launched new smart glasses. This video shows images as seen from the perspective of the wearer of the glasses. The wearable glasses-like device presents a transparent screen, introducing an overlay of web-connected data related to your everyday life. It also provides other features like messaging, web surfing, photographing and even translation. This video that is viewed by more and more people interested in the latest gadgets is a definite inclusion on Nexen’s choice.

- This video shows a comedy sketch called the Harlem Shake. It is the latest Internet craze to hit since Psy’s Gangnam Style. Initiated by Filthy Frank known as the pink guy, a Harlem Shake video usually lasts about 30 seconds and begins with one person dancing for 15 seconds, surrounded by other people not paying attention or unaware of the dancing individual. Then all of a sudden, the video cuts to the entire crowd doing a crazy convulsive dance for the next 15 seconds. It is truly a worthy pick by Nexen.

- Psy, the globally popular singer of Gangnam Style, 2NE1 and Big Bang. What do they have in common? It is that they belong to the same label. A video that features a remix of some of their hits is being viewed by more and more people. The songs fit together very well, resulting in a watchable, high-quality video that makes it in as one of Nexen’s choices.
- Les Militarible
- The movie Les Miserables, which played earlier this year, was rated highly by many movie goers. What was particularly impressive for many was the scene where Javert, one of the title roles, agonizes between the legal justice he believes in and Jean Valjean’s justice. The Korean air force produced a parody of the movie with just one million won ($900 dollars). Yet it is of fairly high quality and includes quite a witty but realistic description of what the life within a military base is like. A definite pick by Nexen.

- A group of people wearing LED lights are dancing in the dark. All we know about them is that they are Japanese dancers. The dance using LED lights is amazing and creative enough to be picked by Nexen.
