● NEXEN TIRE renews its partnership with the Texas Rangers and LA Angels while starting a new partnership with the Pittsburgh Pirates for the 2016 season

NEXEN TIRE, a leading global tire manufacturer, announced that the company will continue to join forces with the Texas Rangers and LA Angels while establishing a new partnership with the Pittsburgh Pirates for the 2016 Major League Baseball season.

As part of its sports marketing activities, NEXEN TIRE has been a proud sponsor of Major League Baseball (MLB) teams for years. Over the past two seasons, NEXEN TIRE has partnered up with the Texas Rangers and the LA Angels and is pleased to renew the sponsorship agreements for the 2016 season. In addition, the company will start a new partnership with the Pittsburgh Pirates this year in order to maximize the effects of its sports marketing activities with baseball teams in the U.S.

NEXEN TIRE advertisements will be featured on outfield signage at the home stadiums of the Texas Rangers and Pittsburgh Pirates, providing both in-stadium and television exposure to reach a maximum number of baseball fans across the world. Also, with the LA Angels, the advertisements will be featured on the LED screen board during home games. Furthermore, the company will have a chance to expose its brand while Korean-born baseball players, Shin-Soo Choo of the Texas Rangers, Ji-Man Choi of the LA Angels and Jung-Ho Kang of the Pittsburgh Pirates, who have joined MLB teams play an active role during the games.
