The major factors in regards to this study consist of ‘Tire Ride’, ‘Tire Traction and Handling’, ‘Tire Wear’, and ‘Tire Appearance.’ Among these, ‘Tire Wear’ is what customers consider to be the most important out of all the tire satisfaction factors. Meanwhile, NEXEN TIRE currently owns four cutting-edge research facilities in Korea, China, the United States, and Europe and three manufacturing facilities; two in Korea and another one in Qingdao, China. In October 2015, the company started construction of a new tire manufacturing plant in Zatec, Czech Republic, which will feature the most advanced automation systems along with environmentally friendly technologies. Commercial operation is planned to commence in 2018.
