Germany, Kelkheim – NEXEN TIRE, a global leader in the tire industry, has announced a new organizational structure for its European operations, bringing its replacement equipment (RE) and original equipment (OE) businesses together under the new leadership. The change is designed to further strengthen coordination across the European business and support the company’s continued development in the region.

As part of the organizational change, DC (DAE CHOONG) KIM has been appointed to lead the newly established European organization, returning to NEXEN TIRE Europe from Korea in this executive leadership role.

In his new position, DC KIM will oversee the combined European RE and OE sales organization, supporting closer alignment between the two business areas and strengthening NEXEN TIRE’s overall approach to the European market. His leadership will contribute to the company’s continued focus on customers, business development, and long-term growth across the region.

The new structure reflects NEXEN TIRE’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its European organization and create closer coordination between its RE and OE businesses. By bringing both areas together under unified executive leadership, NEXEN TIRE aims to enhance collaboration and support the continued development of its business across European markets.

DC KIM joined NEXEN TIRE Europe in 2014. He served as Vice President of Europe & Sales Marketing until 2024, before taking on the role of Executive Vice President of Global Sales, which he held until September 2026.

JEFF (JAE HOON) ROH, former Vice President of Europe Sales & Marketing, has been appointed as the Vice President of Global Sales Planning. In his new role, he will be supporting Nexen Tire offices in the globe to maximize their performance putting focus on US and Europe. He will also take a closer look at the global channel strategy to go further down to the market.

The new organizational structure and leadership appointment are effective from 1st of October.
