Seoul, South Korea, September 15, 2015 – NEXEN TIRE, a leading global tire and tube manufacturer, is participating in the ‘66th International Automobile Ausstellung (IAA Frankfurt Motor Show 2015)’, which is Europe’s largest biennial motor show, held from September 15 to 27 at the Messe Frankfurt Trade Fair Grounds in Frankfurt, Germany.
At the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show 2015, NEXEN TIRE will showcase 13 products under the categories of summer tires, winter tires, technology tires and original equipment (OE) tires at its specially designed exhibition booth. The booth evokes the imagery of a wormhole transporting visitors to a distant future, representing the company’s innovative technologies and outstanding quality products.

NEXEN TIRE will host an unveiling event on September 16 to reveal its new products. The company also will announce the latest information regarding their current original equipment tire supply status, along with the updates on its newest plant in Zatec, the Czech Republic, which is expected to serve as an important manufacturing hub in supplying original equipment tires to global car manufacturers in Europe. The plant is scheduled to have a groundbreaking ceremony on October 1, 2015.
In addition, NEXEN TIRE has planned to execute various promotional activities at the motor show by utilizing the company’s sponsorship management of Manchester City Football Club (FC), as it became the official partnership of Manchester City FC in early August. Such activities include a football game event for visitors to its booth and outdoor mobile advertisement featuring the company’s Manchester City FC sponsorship.
NEXEN TIRE has been supplying original equipment tires for global car manufacturers, including FCA, Mitsubishi, Fiat, Volkswagen, Chrysler, Skoda, SEAT and others, and has been strengthening its global presence with a focus on the European market.
