The Changnyeong plant drives the growth of NEXEN TYRE with its most advanced automated facilities and eco-friendly high valueadded products made with the world’s leading technologies. Tires produced in the Changnyeong plant are mostly supplied for original equipment to premium car makers. This plant is leading NEXEN TYRE into one of the world’s top 10 tire manufactures, together with the other 3 plants.
NEXEN TYRE Qingdao plant concentrates its energy on achieving localization and management innovation. Expanding the level of domestic demand for OE and obtaining the advancement of the product structure, the Qingdao plant serves as a spring board toward China, which is considered the world’s largest automotive market.
The Europe plant reflects NEXEN TYRE’s vision of providing its leading products to European consumers from a local base. And it is NEXEN TYRE’s second fully automated plant, following the Changnyeong plant in Republic of Korea. In March 2021, NEXEN TYRE began the second phase expansion of the Europe plant, in which the Company expects to increase its manufacturing capacity to 11 million from its current 5.5 million.
