● NEXEN TIRE’s N'blue Premium selected as original equipment for the new Volkswagen ‘Caddy’

● With increasing supplies of original equipment tires to various global car manufacturers, NEXEN TIRE plans to expand its presence in the European and North American markets

Seoul, South Korea, August 31, 2015 – NEXEN TIRE, a leading global tire manufacturer, announced that it will supply Volkswagen with its N’blue Premium tire (size: 195/65 R15). The tire will come equipped on the new Volkswagen Caddy, a compact van with global sales topping 1.5 million units over the past 11 years, which will be produced in Poznan, Poland.

The N’blue Premium is a fuel-efficient and eco-friendly tire. It received a Special Mention at the German Design Award 2015 for its sophisticated European styling. The tire also recently signed to supply for the Renault ‘Twingo’ last June.

Since 2012, NEXEN TIRE has been supplying tires to various global car manufacturers. Most recently, the company has been contracted to supply the N’blue Premium tire for the Renault ‘Twingo’, the Roadian CT8 SUV/LTR for FCA’s first crossover vehicle, the ‘500X’, and the CP671 for FCA’s commercial van, the ‘Ducato.’
