Manchester City FC has become the Premier League champions for the 2017/18 season by winning 3-1 in its match against Tottenham Hotspur FC, hosted at Wembley Stadium on April 14. It has become one of the quickest clubs in the league’s history to clinch the trophy by securing the victory with five matches to spare, matching the league record set by Manchester United FC in the 2000/01 season.

The club has displayed its striking performance throughout the season.
It boasted its power by remaining undefeated from round 1 to 22 and set a record for most consecutive victories (18 wins in a row). They also set the record for most points of 100 by defeating Southampton FC at the last match of the season. On top of that, due to setting new records for most wins (32 wins) and most goals (106 goals) for a season, it finished the 2017/18 season with a flourish.

The Premier League trophy was presented to Manchester City FC at Etihad Stadium on May 6. Pep Guardiola, who led the team to the victory, and the players were all super exhilarated, celebrating one of the best moments they’ve had while surrounded by enthusiastic applause and cheers. Quite possibly, they did their best at each match during the season for this very moment.
