NEXEN TYRE, a leading global tyre manufacturer, has announced its selection as an original equipment (OE) tyre supplier for the facelifted version of Hyundai Motor Company’s flagship sedan, ‘The New Grandeur.’

The N'FERA Supreme S, NEXEN TYRE’s Ultra-High Performance (UHP) tyre designed for premium vehicles, has been chosen for the model. This continues the company’s OE supply relationship with Hyundai, following its involvement in the seventh-generation Grandeur, and further strengthens the long-standing strategic partnership between the two companies.

The New Grandeur is the updated version of Hyundai Motor Company’s flagship sedan, featuring design and technology enhancements including the Seamless Horizon Lamp and Pleos Connect, Hyundai’s next-generation infotainment system, aimed at improving overall product competitiveness.

The N'FERA Supreme S incorporates NEXEN TYRE’s proprietary Noise Reduction System (NRS), which uses sound-absorbing materials to effectively reduce cavity resonance noise generated during driving. In addition, an AI big data-driven low-noise tread pattern has been applied to minimise road noise and vibration, enhancing cabin quietness and ride comfort.

The tyre also features AI-based load distribution technology and a 4D compound to deliver strong grip and high-speed stability. Optimised sipe and groove designs help maintain performance consistency as the tyre wears, while an aerodynamic sidewall structure reduces rolling resistance to improve fuel efficiency.

NEXEN TYRE has further expanded its collaboration with Hyundai Motor’s premium lineup, supplying the N'FERA Supreme S for flagship models including ‘The All-New Palisade’ SUV and ‘The All-New NEXO,’ Korea’s first mass-produced hydrogen fuel cell electric SUV. The OE supply for The New Grandeur reinforces this continued partnership across key mobility segments.

Since its first OE supply agreement with overseas automakers in 2012, NEXEN TYRE has grown into a trusted supplier for major global automotive manufacturers, including premium brands across Europe. The continued selection of its tyres for Hyundai’s flagship models highlights the company’s competitiveness in product quality, performance, and advanced technology in a highly competitive global market.
