NEXEN Tyre has announced that it is supplying original equipment (OE) tyres for the Renault FILANTE, a crossover model produced by Renault Korea. The Renault FILANTE combines the characteristics of a sedan and an SUV and is equipped with a hybrid powertrain. Hybrid vehicles place increased technical demands on tyres due to the combined use of an electric motor and an internal combustion engine. NEXEN Tyre’s selection for this model reflects its ability to support a range of powertrain types. The supply covers both vehicles sold in the domestic Korean market and export models destined for Latin America and the Middle East. The ROADIAN GTX, fitted in a 19-inch specification, is an all-season tyre designed for SUVs and crossover utility vehicles (CUVs). A zigzag tread pattern across a wide contact patch helps distribute road pressure evenly, supporting stable handling. A load distribution structure enhances grip, while a noise-optimised block arrangement helps reduce road noise. This latest supply builds on NEXEN Tyre’s ongoing partnership with Renault Korea, following previous fitments including the Grand Koleos launched in 2024.
