NEXEN TIRE, a leading global tyre manufacturer, announced that it will supply its high-efficiency, high-performance summer tyre, the N’Blue S (215/65R16 102H), as original equipment (OE) for Kia’s new purpose-built vehicle (PBV), the Kia PV5.

The PV5 is a global PBV strategy model developed on Kia’s advanced Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP). It offers flexible hardware and software configurations that can be adapted for a variety of uses, from family transport to camping and commercial applications. With this versatility, the PV5 is expected to become a key model for urban logistics and the evolving mobility industry.

Through this supply, NEXEN TIRE has demonstrated its advanced tyre technology optimised for electric vehicle-based commercial mobility. The N’Blue S is designed for eco-friendly, high-performance vehicles, minimising rolling resistance to comply with stringent carbon emissions regulations in Europe. The tyre is already fitted to a range of European-style vehicles from various automakers and is recognised for its quality and strong market presence.

N’Blue S features NEXEN TIRE’s Sidewall Aero Dynamic technology, reducing pass-by noise and improving fuel efficiency for the first time. This innovation supports compliance with strict European environmental regulations on noise and fuel economy. A simplified groove design enhances high-speed water drainage and wet traction, providing stable braking and excellent durability even under repetitive urban driving conditions, maximising the efficiency of commercial electric vehicles.

Building on more than eight decades of accumulated technology and expertise, NEXEN TIRE has established itself as a trusted OE tyre supplier for major automakers in Europe and the United States.
