Title NEXEN TIRE Named Number One Tire Manufacturer by the ‘Global Customer Satisfaction Index’ for Tenth Year in a Row	Date2019-06-28
NEXEN TIRE, a global tire manufacturer, has retained its number one position in the tire category for South Korea’s ‘2019 Global Customer Satisfaction Competency Index (GCSI)’. This is the tenth consecutive year that NEXEN TIRE has been recognized for their superior quality, global presence and brand quality. Marking the fifteenth year of GCSI, the research evaluation institution is organized annually by South Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy to raise awareness and improve customer satisfaction management by providing a global industrial competitiveness index. This year’s evaluation was conducted through an online survey that lasted for three weeks in April, centering around Seoul and six other metropolitan cities. The valid sample for the evaluation was 103,000 and evaluation categories included customer satisfaction elements, customer value, global capability and loyalty. NEXEN TIRE has been recognized for operating the industry’s first ‘Next Level’, a tire rental service providing tire inspections and vehicle check-ups. ‘Next Level’ also offers monthly rental services that are tailored for customers, depending on their driving preferences and consumer patterns. To ensure safe driving, NEXEN TIRE continues its ‘New Premium Warranty System’ replacing to high-end tire models such as ‘N’FERA AU7’, ‘N’FERA AU5’ and ‘N’ERA RU5’, even in cases of drivers’ negligence. This year, NEXEN TIRE established four major global R&D and production facilities with the opening of ‘THE NEXEN univerCITY’ at the Magok Industrial Complex in Seoul, Korea as well as the Europe plant in the Czech Republic. ‘THE NEXEN univerCITY’ is the company’s central research institute that acts as an integrated R&D hub for its local and global R&D centers. Through these four major establishments, NEXEN TIRE plans to expand sales and obtain manufacturing capabilities in the local and global markets. Meanwhile, the 2019 GCSI certification award ceremony took place in Hanoi, Vietnam that was attended by representatives from the award-winning companies.
