The global tire maker Nexen Tire was ranked first in the tire category at the 2014 Global Customer Satisfaction Competency Index (GCSI) hosted by JMAC for the 5th year running.

The GCSI is a system used to evaluate customer satisfaction that was developed by JMAC, a multi-national consulting group. The consulting group measures customer satisfaction for each country on an annual basis.

Nexen Tire has continued to execute its customer satisfaction campaign with the industry-first premium warranty program it introduced in 2008. Nexen Tire offers a one-to-one consulting service in which experts visit customers to address specific customer complaints. Furthermore, it listens to customer feedback through "Happy Call" and provides differentiated services to realize customer satisfaction. With the recent release of new tire products, including 'Roadian HTX RH5' and 'Roadian AT PRO RA8' for SUVs and 'N'FERA SU1' UHP tire, the tire maker has continued to actively engage in marketing activities designed to expand its share of the domestic market and improve customer satisfaction.

This survey was carried out over 3 weeks in April with over 100,000 respondents for 192 product categories organized into 9 industrial groups. The evaluation items include customer satisfaction, quality, customer value, global capabilities, and customer loyalty.

It is unprecedented for a company to top the list for customer satisfaction for the 5th year running and Nexen Tire’s achievement is testament to the devotion shown by customers around the world.

Nexen Tire will always strive to provide better technology while listening more carefully to customer feedback.
